Synopsis:
The Plague is brought to the Derbyshire town of Eyam in 1665 by a parcel of dress patterns sent up from London. It claims most of the town's population over the next year. Mall Percival, a 16-year-old girl, tells of the straits of the villagers and the measures they take to avoid the spread of the plague.
