Synopsis:
Set in mid-80's East London. Central character is Paula, a 13-year-old girl whose father and grandfather are cabbies. The latter has vital evidence which could convict an East End ganster but is holding it to protect his family, one of whom is involved with the crooks. Paula's London-born Sikh friend Narinder will have to go to India if the gansters are not stopped, while Paula's family will face disgrace if they are.
Notes:
There is little bad language and just one or two unedifying bits to do with the relations between the male and female characters.
