Synopsis:
Dinah Glass joins the Hunter family as foster child to initial disapproval from Lloyd & Hunter who don't want a girl in the family. Things get worse when she joins the majority of the school under the Headmaster's hypnotic influence. However, she works out what's going on and they join forces to stop the Headmaster's plans.
Notes:
The plot keeps moving as ploy after ploy by the children is defeated by the Headmaster while the adults appear not to realise that anything is wrong. The relationships within the Hunter family and between the children fighting against the Headmaster are nicely done.
Lloyd and Harvey exchanged glances and Ian looked at her curiously. “What do you think of him?” he said. Dinah opened her mouth to say that she thought he was creepy and peculiar. Instead she heard her voice say, “He is a marvellous man and this is the best school I've ever been to.” She put her knife and fork down.
